Galère administrative et Situation de Handicap.

18 mois après la mort de mon père, j'ai enfin obtenu gain de cause auprès de la #MSA et ma mère a obtenu 3000 euros d'AAH indûment non versés.
J'ai envie de boire un verre de crémant pour fêter ça.

Maintenant, il me reste à comprendre le jugement sur la situation d'AAH et la retraite d'une dame pour faire réclamation. Car, depuis la mort de mon père, ma mère ne touche plus son AAH car elle a sa pension de réversion.

Ce qui me semble terriblement injuste.

Während die Bauarbeiten heute am frühen Nachmittag geendet haben, fangen sie jetzt, um halb 9 am Abend, wieder an. Ich könnt spucken. Ungefähr 6 Stunden tagsüber war hier nix. Und das Kind schreibt diese Woche #msa 😭 und braucht #Schlaf

I learnt this morning that my mother is one of only 10 people in our whole (albeit sparsely populated) county that has a diagnosis of #MSA, #MultipleSystemAtrophy The incidence in the population is 3-4 people per 100,000 which I'm told makes it rarer than MND. It's an unlucky position to be in and having finally understood today what it really means, Mum has not taken it well. We're emphasising quality of life and so on but she just sees the death sentence.

My Mum's #ParkinsonsDisease diagnosis has been upgraded to Multiple System Atrophy, which is every bit as horrible as it sounds. I've joined the #MSA Trust, whose bumph arrived this morning. I'm feeling quite overwhelmed just looking through their factsheet and seeing all the possible avenues to follow up, and I speak as someone quite equal to plans and admin.
