The Warhammer is a large blunt weapon for smashing enemies, requiring Bludgeoning:5 skill. Damage caused to enemies is based on the player character's Strength. It is especially fun to use the warhammer in upper and middle level dungeons, where it allows the player character to bludgeon their way through enemies as if the enemies were not even there. On the second level of Conveyors, even the guards are helpful. They push the cards onto conveyor belts for you to pick up, and play no further part in the game. Huh. For some reason Turbo C's time() is getting stuck in an infinite loop. Don't call it to seed the random number generator or determine the phase of moon and off we go...

Hmm. Can't get the time() hang to repro in a trivial test program. I wonder what's going on here.

Aha. time() called getdate() which conflicted with a function in Hack (that called getlt() that called time()). Not sure why that resulted in a hang instead of a crash due to stack overflow...

I’m not saying that #MSDOS should be ported to #ARM / #RISCV, I am just saying that it’s possible ;P

BasGa – two color schemes

Another Galaga-type game. Retro-themed. And an 800 x 600 screen. Four colors. Like the SGA graphics in MS DOS. And sci-fi as the main theme. Again, like the 80s. This time, I created the text color and background. The game can change its entire visual design depending on the graphics mode. Blue and pink.
