Mission RAMSES: RPS und MARIE untersuchen den Durchflug von Asteroid Apophis durch die Magnetosphäre der Erde

Die RAMSES-Raumsonde ist ein Nachbau der Hera-Mission der Europäischen Weltraumorganisation ESA – mit kleineren Änderungen an der Raumsonde und teilweise neuen Instrumenten. So wie Hera wird RAMSES ebenfalls zwei Kleinsatelliten, die CubeSats „Farinella“ und „Don Quijote“, auswerfen. Hier gibt es bei „Don Quijote“aber eine Neuerung in der Missionsausrichtung: Der CubeSat wird als Lander geplant, Hauptziel ist die Landung auf Apophis.
