In deze bioscoop hield de britse Generaal Brian Horrocks de laatste briefing aan de bevelvoerders die van 15 tot 25 september 1944 zouden deelnemen aan Operatie #MarketGarden.

De operatie werd een mislukking, maar kreeg wel een plaats in het collectieve geheugen, mede dankzij de film "A Bridge Too Far".

I couldn't get any photos other than this, let alone photos inside the building, because the concrete fence is quite high. It was difficult to climb the fence, especially since I wasn't in the mood to do that at that time.

There is very little information I can get about this cinema. This cinema was popular back then and if I'm not mistaken this cinema closed in the late 1990s, so it's probably been almost 30 years as of the time I posted this.
