Tried something in water color. I'm not sure if it worked out though. I wanted to capture a moody winter afternoon in the mountains. With a mostly grey sky and light being reflected by snow.
I think I fought too much against the paper though. Maybe with a different one, it will turn out better next time!

I remember the Mountain Scene as a great local rag. Scoop knew exactly what was happening in QT & MS was the voice of the village.
After the ODT bought the publication, the poor old Scene became little more than a PR rag for QT business. Investigative journalism wasn't on their menu.
Now it appears that the ODT may be killing off the Mountain Scene, because today this link redirects readers straight to the ODT's Queenstown page.
