The Sphinx II (2022)

I took this shot in the high alpine meadows just south of #Jasper #Alberta, in a park that few actually visit in this mountain region. My sibling had suggested we go backpacking through this area on a weekend trip we had the opportunity to enjoy together.

This scene was without a doubt, the highlight of our hike as summited the ridge to see this sweeping valley.

For #MountainMonday I have this photograph of Mount Woodside in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia. I was there to photograph eagles (https://www.mrussellphotography.com/blog/bald-eagles-harrison-mills-fraser-valley/) but these clouds around the treed slopes were too good to pass up!
