Mount Rainier and the First Blue Openings at Tipsoo Lake

What caught my eye here was the mix of deep snow, evergreen trees, and those small blue meltwater pools opening up beneath the mountain. The lake was still mostly frozen, but spring was clearly starting to push through.

It felt bright, quiet, and full of mountain stillness.

Reflection Lake at Mount Rainier National Park

Yesterday felt like the start of Mount Rainier season again. With Cayuse Pass and Chinook Pass both open, I was able to drive all the way around the mountain, and Reflection Lake was one of the highlights. The blue sky, the puffy white clouds, and that clean reflection made it a beautiful day to be out with my camera.
