Yesterday I've seen a pretty close call: while climbing rocks near a summit someone touched a small stone that went down, then it impacted a bigger stone right in front of me. For 1-2 seconds I've been thinking I should stop the stones, but didn't have enough time

So then the ~10kg stone gained speed below me and flew right next to a teammate. He was barely able to get away from it's path. From what he said latter, looks like us screaming the "Rock!" command is what really gave him time to react (please do that!!)

Mountain hike #10, ascending Kapirtash (2508m): ~2200m total elevation gain and 24km track. It was my first time with a new group and they are quite fast, the whole hike took only 10 hours with only 1.5 hours of breaks

Spent most of the ascend in a cloud, so quite wet and low visibility. But latter it cleared up a bit, and we were able to see 3000m summits covered in fresh snow
