Emeritus Prof Christopher MayI've been thinking a bit about my late mother today.... she died some years ago, but remains a significant influence on my political views.
She was one of the first female political agents for the Labour Party in London in the 1950s.
She was a leading campaigner for birth control in the 1960s/70s
And perhaps most importantly she instilled in me a feminism that shapes my every day practices & life.
