Truth Collector@DjityDjity I guess everyone / the general public is in their own kind of mental #war or #dilemma and that is a big #reason for being #physically or #morally #occupied / #busy / #distracted and #trying to figure it out, at the same time as other things that are over-arching #wars (so wars and people, inside wars and #people).
And some people are just saying to themselves "I''m just glad it wasn't me ... and I'm not going to say that out-loud for anyone to hear because maybe that is bad".

How do you tell somebody needing #help that you aren't in a #position to do that directly?
I've always #struggled with this both #morally and #abstractly so. Because I don't like denying anyone any kind of #support if and when I can give it.
Maybe it's just my inner #empathy at play, but I often times feel like I'm there with them in that #moment where I can't just do nothing if it's not an emergency, but not a passive disinterest either.
The way I've delt with this, is to pass the word along to someone who I know could make that #difference more #meaningful or who I #trust to do so. It still doesn't #feel like I've done enough in those kinds of situations though. And I do often wonder if those #people got what they #needed because I was there to put in the #effort at least in part.
I would be okay with it, if it wasnt up to me alone to #fix it. But I still consider the plight of those who need the only #human in sight to act like one. And I wish more of us would and could do that on a collective basis. Our world would be so much better informed and run a lot easier too because there would be a lot less confusion and a lot more certainty on exactly where you stand.
