Larkspur, delphinium is the birth flower for the month of July alongside the water Lily. Also known as monkshood or wolfsbane. Extremely poisonous and can even cause skin irritation when touched. I found a more artistic version to draw for this one. There are over 300 varieties of this plant. Varying in color and shape.

Another complex flower. this one very poisonous. Monkshood. Found all over the northern hemisphere and sometimes used to tip spears and arrows. Not sure I captured the absolute jumble of flowers on this stem they overlap and that caused me some issues with negative space. But I still love the color.
