In the toilet noticed I have left a product that has "keep out of reach of children" on the laundry basket.

Started to put it away before remembering that for almost a year there in fact have no longer been any children in this house.

Edit. Before anyone misunderstands my #adhd train of thought, my kid is 18 now & still lives at home & is very much ok.

Total #mommoment: anytime there’s a tragic event within a 50 mile radius of where my children live and/or work, I automatically assume they were involved and text them to be sure they’re ok 😬 I know it’s dumb but, here we are.

Recently there was a fire in a chicken plant in the town that my oldest daughter works in. I texted asking her if she was ok and told her why I asked. She said “mom! I’m welding! I don’t work at a chicken plant!”

Me: “but they might need welders at a chicken plant!”
