I'm going to commit coffee heresy and say that the Moka Pot is better than the Aeropress for travel. No need to bring filters or a water boiler, and the coffee it makes is just as good. I've brought the Aeropress and forgot my filters too many times. It also doesn't pack that well because of it's awkward shape. I guess that's why they want you to buy the Go. The only downside of the Moka Pot is that you have to wait for it to cool down before you can clean it.

I ordered a size 2 #mokapot from Amazon. I was one of those people who ended up with a size 6 previously, for no good reason.

It was interesting. First they told me they were going to add it to my order and deliver it the next day. That was cool.

Then it kind of regressed in delivery until they said they didn't know when they could ship it and they would email me when they could.

But the killer thing is, their web page still promises same-day delivery to my location.

Bad Amazon.

Hey #MokaPot critters: Is it normal for water in the bottom of our (aluminum) moka pot to taste kinda funny?

I don't really know how to clean the thing, besides soap, which doesn't seem to do much for that IIRC.

Discovered the mighty magic of brewing coffee in a moka-style stovetop pot.
I haven't had this much energy in 40 years.
(My first try, and it came out pretty acceptable, but I bet I can get a better outcome with a wee bit of tinkering. You might say that I'm motivated now.)

Kemarin saya tepat beli Moka pot 3 cup. "Cup" di sini ternyata berdasarkan ukuran shot espresso di Italia.

Pada tahun 1930-an, Alfonso Bialetti merancang alat Moka Express pertama. Dengan ukuran satuan "cup", 1 cup sama dengan 60ml (satu shot espresso).

Jadi, untuk ukuran pemakaian pribadi, Moka pot 3 cups atau 180ml sungguh sudah tepat sekali
