A previous owner left this corn cast behind. I don’t know if it was a grandkid or what, but it bored me being just green and yellow. Soooo…I repainted the kernels and glittered a selection to mimic glass gem corn. I’m much happier with it now. #glitter #modpodge #reinvention #art

. It was originally meant to be released last weekend, but I got distracted with other stuff.

I’ve seen mod podge used to create texture with brush streaks and I’ve been trying to recreate it but I can’t figure it out

It seems to dry so slow that it’s smoothed itself out to a nice finish no matter how streaky I apply it 😅 normally that’d be cool but it’s not what I’m going for here

I tried a few glues and an off-brand decoupage glue, too. No luck

Any suggestions? What can I do to get a nice streaky finish? 😂

So I downloaded the #adhd app that was recommended.... It couldn't hold my attention long enough to figure out how it works 🤦🏼 I'll retry in a different mindset.

Note to self: Drink the one on the right, dip your brush in the one to the left.
I almost took a sip of the Mod Podge... =( Better if they stand this close, since I am right handed and will find the ice tea first, even if I'm not thinking about what I'm doing.
