But, the mastodon.social mods banned the account before I could even finish writing my post! #moderation
Despite being defederated from the vast majority of the Fediverse and literally being the reason on why stuff like the Anti Meta Fedi Pact exists (https://fedipact.online/), there are some instances that do let Threads federate with them. One of them is vmst.io!
Here's a list of all the instances, that do/don't/maybe block Threads in it's entirety (https://fedipact.veganism.social/), and it's a beautiful list.
It's like Instagram/Facebook/Meta users HAD to connect to another social network, and decided to get in the Fediverse - just to get abandoned by most of them xD
Besides, I don't see much people knowing about what the Fediverse is, or even that their posts are not out in there by default.
Like genuinely, I emphasize this once more, Threads literally got defederated from most Fediverse instances right from the get-go, and you can't even find half the people that are worth following.
Ignoring the obvious privacy concerns that one might have with Meta, there indeed is a lack of moderation on Threads, just how it is right now on mastodon.cloud, which has been on fire for an extreme lack of quality control.

Using Threads was a trial for me, to see whether it's just an echo chamber of Instagram users or actually any kind of presence exists there from the Fediverse.
