Even today, several hundred thousand additional cars in German cities can be linked to historical tram closures, occupying space that could otherwise be used for essential urban needs, such as housing and green spaces.

Applications are open for the Doctoral Training Network (DTN) at the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).

Participating universities I found here are Aalto University @aaltouniversity, Eindhoven University of Technology @TUEindhoven, NFF Technical University of Braunschweig @tubraunschweig , Technical University of Munich @tu_muenchen, and the University of Tartu @isglobalorg.

The participation fee from other universities is 6,000€ to be paid by the university of the PhD candidate.
