Was going to bicycle longer, but restrooms on the Root River Trail aren't open yet and I was having stomach issues. Bicycled to Peterson and back to Rushford again.

25 PedalCyclists on the trail today. Only two electric. Heard one kid say, "Mom! It feels like Summer out here!"

In most places, property lines stop at the street, but in North Oaks, #Minnesota, property lines extend to the middle of the street. This makes the entire city private property, which prohibits Google and other mapping companies from driving through to take street-level photos. This Minnesotan figured out how residents achieved this block and then found a way to map the area himself.

I always thought snow glittering was artistic license in paintings. It wasn't until I moved here that I saw snow glistening. Snow doesn't do that in North Alabama.

Bicycled on the Root River Trail to Peterson and back from Rushford today. Much warmer. On the way there, one third walking. On the way back, so much ice and snow had melted I was able to bicycle the whole way.

2 bicyclists on the trail near Peterson.

2 dog walkers.

Saturday should have most of the trail to Lanesboro melted.
