@nibbs Es geht im übrigen ausschließlich mit mit mkvmerge. mkvextract benötigt man gar nicht (wie ich am Anfang vermutet habe).
Letztendlich läuft es auf folgendes Kommando hinaus
mkvmerge --output merged.mkv --language 0:de deutsche_datei.mp4 --language 1:en --no-video englische_datei.mp4 --track-order 0:0,0:1,1:1
Der Trick ist, dass man bei der zweiten Datei das --no-video mit angibt, damit wird nur der Audo-Track mit in die Ausgabe übernommen.
After sorting out some subtitle issues with the next batch of encodes and a lot of prep work I've got the next set onto the servers. Encodes are looking great as they're coming in at around 1 hour and 15 minutes per episode. Sorted the subtitle issue by accident as I can point to multiple attachment directories in the `mkvmerge` module.

I ripped video from a DVD, and the full feature was split into three separate video files (technically three different episodes of the show) and I know how to join them. I converted the vob subtitles into SRT files. I'm not sure how to append the subtitle files correctly though? Since it would involve all of the time codes for the second and third SRT files shifting? Can mkvmerge do this?
