My earliest recollections of #SCOTUS rulings date to the mid 1960s, along with both family and classroom discussions of rulings such as Brown vs Board of Education and Loving vs Virginia.
I never dreamed that #SCOTUS would provide cover for a #WannabeDIctator. Silly me, I sort of beleived what I was taught about #ChecksAndBalance. That was before #MitchMcConnel set the stage for the behavior described below (with a nod to #Biden and his supporting role in the appointment of #ClarenceThomas). #sigh

Simplicity: this guy broke longstanding Senate procedure and denied Barrack Obama two nominees on the #SupremeCourt.
#Joe doesn't need to change any laws. He simply nominates two justices to the court right now, and pushes them through the Senate.
It is within his purview, and totally legal – and, though it would break recent precedent again, it would do so less egregiously than #MitchMcConnel did in denying the 44th president his deserved nominees, creating our present chaos.
