Nicklas Pedersen represented Denmark at Mister World 2014 and competed against 45 other candidates at The Riviera International Conference Centre in Torbay, Devon, England, United Kingdom on June 15, 2014. He won the title.

On July 19, 2016, Pedersen crowned his successor Rohit Khandelwal at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in Southport, England. The latter is the first Mister World from India.

    Araras’s Carlos Franco is Brazil’s Mister World 2019 candidate

    Representing Brazil, Carlos Wilton Teodoro Franco, 27, is one of the bachelors from around the world who will compete for the Mister World 2019 title. The Brazilian businessman, actor, model and karate teacher is 6’3” tall.

    Franco hails from Araras, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The municipality is home to Parque Municipal Fabio da Silva Prado, Parque Ecologico e Cultural Gilberto Ruegger Ometto, Basilica Nossa, Senhora do Patrocino, Estadual e Araras Maestro Francisco P. Russo Theater and Casa da Memoria de Araras Pedro Pessoto Filho.

    Representing Sao Paulo, Franco was crowned Mister World Brazil 2016 at the II Campanario Resort in Jurerê Internacional, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil on June 24, 2016. He bested 27 other candidates and also won the Top Model and Fashion Night contests as well as the Mr. Sympathetic, Mr. Cordiality, Mr. Elegance, Mr. Hairstyle, Mr. Health and Fitness and Mr. New Face awards.

    In Brazil, Franco serves as an ambassador for the fight against leprosy. He also teaches karate to children and young people and in 2016, he was a runner-up in the Brazilian Karate Championship.

    Mister World 2019

    As Mr. World Brazil, Franco participated in a fashion show and gala to help funds for APAE, a pioneering center in Brazil that gives practical training to over 500 people with downs syndrome. He succeeded Lucas Montandon, 29, of Brasilia, Brazil, who finished in the Top 10 at Mister World 2016.

    On August 23, 2019, Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, 29, of India will crown his successor at the Mister World 2019 coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It will be the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant.

    Mister World 2019 marks the first time the pageant is held in the Philippines. If Franco wins the crown, he will be the pageant’s second titleholder from Brazil following Mr. World 2003 Gustavo Gianetti, 40, of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

    Representing South Africa, doctor, model and television presenter Fezile Mkhize, 28, almost won Mister World 2019. He was the first runner-up in the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant.

    On August 23, 2019, Mr. World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal, 29, of India crowned his successor at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Mkhize did very well from the fast track events to the final question-and-answer portion but it was not enough to beat eventual winner Jack Heslewood, 27, of England.

    Brian Faugier, 25, of Mexico was second runner-up. Carlos Franco, 27, of Brazil and Alejandro Martinez, 26, of Dominican Republic finished in the Top 5.

    The reigning Mister World 2016 is Rohit Khandelwal on India. On July 19, 2016, he and 45 other candidates competed for the title at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre in Southport, England, United Kingdom.

    Runner-up to Khandelwal was Fernando Alberto Alvarez. The second runner-up was Aldo Esparza Ramirez of Mexico.

    Mister World 2019 top model challenge

    One of the fast track events of Mister World 2019 is the top model challenge. On August 22, 2019, the 72 candidates of the international male beauty pageant walked the runway wearing Barong Tagalog during the charity gala night at the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

    From 25 semifinalists, five were chosen as the finalists. From the five finalists, one will be named Mr. World 2019 Top Model and will automatically be included in the Top 12 during the coronation night on August 23, 2019 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

    On August 23, 2019, Khandelwal will crown his successor at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the 10th edition of the international male beauty pageant founded by Eric Morley.

    Miss World 2013 Megan Young will host the Mister World 2019 coronation ceremony with Mikael Daez and Frankie Cena. The show will feature performances by Alyssa Muhlach, Kimi Mugford and Kris Lawrence.
