I'm continuing to watch Essie Davis in "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries". I enjoy the episodes for themselves (very good). But they also put me back to a much happier time in my mental health.

I began watching them just after I moved here in 2016 — pre-Trump. So I experience the delights of the series, with the added delights of recalling life before the 🎃 🤡 💩.

Having completed Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy last week, I'm embarking on all three seasons of "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries", recently purchased on eBay. Yes, I've seen at least seasons 1 & 2 before.

I'm Gareth, I'm in Victoria, Australia.

Twitter was one of my main social outlets, and with that going down the plughole I'm hoping to have some connections here. I'm a little bit socially anxious and not good at being outgoing or interacting with people in the physical world.

I enjoy a #roadtrip, I've been to all the states / territories by road except the Northern Territory (it's on my to do list).

I like #writing, and try to #write. But if I'm honest these past few years have been hard on the creativity. I did find for a time listening to #synthwave did help my creativity process a bit.

Writing wise it's mostly blogs from road trips, other experiences, the occasional long form research and #fanfiction which is the bulk of my long form fiction-based writing. Do have one or two other original fiction pieces which I've been working on for years and not getting anywhere.

Started a new personal project, similar to my ongoing "Tea Time", I'll be doing illustrations that mix fan art with my OC Almond Milk, where she will "cosplay" characters.

In this piece I draw AM as Miss Fisher from the tv series.💀

The fist time I saw Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries I was amused at how close the character was to what I wanted AM to be (concept wise) thus I thought would be a perfect fit for my first "Cosplay" series artwork!🙃
