Not cool: I mainly use Firefox, but keep Vivaldi around for sites that only work with Blink/Chrome-based browsers.

I hadn't opened Vivaldi in a while, and it had updated since the last time. I have my start page set to blank/empty - and when I opened it there were two big sponsored speed-dial entries shown.

I have always had all sponsored/suggested/etc features turned off.

Bad #Vivaldi.

Another CC meant to be BCC mail disaster unfolding today.

Thunderbird does this nice thing where if your message includes the word "attach" or "cv" and there's no attachment it asks you if you forgot the attachment before it sends. I think it would be neat if mail clients spotted that your CC line had more than 6 addresses and asked if you meant to BCC instead.

A new feature of Google Docs that can go do one: storing dates as uneditable tokens. I have a work log that has daily entries with headings, and I copy yesterday's entry to today and make changes. Now, I can't edit the date: I hit delete by the last digit, and the whole heading is gone.

The only option in the help is "Got it", not "Aaagh I fucken hate it make it stop"

@kriegundfreitag hm. Das blöde an dem #Edit #Misfeature ist, das es das nun gibt. Selbst wenn jemand den Fehler beheben würde und Edit wieder entfernen würde, so würde es bestimmt forks geben, die das beibehalten. Diesen Geist wird man nicht mehr einfangen können.

Schon schade, irgendwie. Sinnvolle features wie "zitieren" werden hingegen geblockt. Was dann Mal Hetzern gefallen wird, da es so leichter ist, über jemanden herzuziehen, ohne dass der sich wehren kann.

Schade.
