The doctor didn't explain things as well as I wish she did, which is to say she didn't really talk about any side effects of #Mirena, give me options for #IUD, or provide information about the IUD I got.
I also got misgendered a lot, it was so awful 😔
I didn't get any sort of pads to prepare for the bleeding, and ruined my underwear.
I can't reiterate enough that this appointment was for a surgical consult, and I feel so weird about everything that happened.

Does anyone know if #CBD oil interferes with #oestrogen? In general but specifically the #OCP (oral contraceptive pill).
Would I be better off consuming the whole plant? Perhaps oil from the whole plant? Has anyone had personal experience?
There is some good evidence that #cannabis can stop #endometriosis from growing outside the uterus altogether, so I’m looking at this as a form of #pain relief as well as a treatment and preventative. I don’t know which form and dose is best though.
The only other treatment for endometriosis is more hormones (which make me sick) and surgery, after which it grows back. Can’t find a doctor specialising in alternative treatments. They all just want to give you a #Mirena #IUD (without anaesthetic!) and surgery after surgery. Sometimes #hysterectomy if bad enough.
There’s also been some studies about CBD oil and #LongCovid. Something about switching on the #cannabinoid system.
Disclaimer: Yes of course I would get a #medical #marijuana license and buy it legally on prescription.
