The Ukrainian Ambassador rightly pointed out in his latest National Press Club address that he who controls the narrative creates the new truth (or words to that effect). This is what #Minns and the NSW #PoliceCommissioner have been doing, using innuendoes, misinformation and hypotheticals to justify police violence. Amplified by a compliant media, those lies are becoming truths for many ‘voters’ (which is what it’s all about — pity about making political mileage out of the unfortunate dead!).
At times like these it would make any sane person feel like a bloody revolution to ‘clear out the swamp’. I guess I’ll just wait for my next time at the urns instead. :(
