When I was a boy my family would travel up here and stay at my grandfather's cabin on Moose Lake, just south of what's now the BWCA. In those days they'd fly floatplanes in to take rich fisherman to their canoes. No more, thank goodness. Here's work on the cabin in the early 1950s. #minnesotalife
