Currently sitting without power, water, and heat. It's been downpouring all day, 25mph winds. It ripped one of our trees up by the roots and threw it into the main road taking our power lines connected to the house with it. Called the electric company, they have no idea how long it will be till it gets fixed. Until then I'm doing my best to keep my skink Leviathan warm, but its proving to be challenging. Wish I had a generator at least big enough to give him his heat lamps back, im worried about him with highs in the 40s tomorrow. But! On the brighter side of things, Birger is experiencing his first power outage and is taking it like a champ! He's stuck by my side and didn't even jump when we heard the tree fall onto the road. I swear, hes the only reason I haven't gone insane yet. He keeps me busy and gives me cuddles and kisses to keep me going.
