Seeing @bradsminiproject (https://instagram.com/bradsminiproject) mini ERA turbo go over its 1000 mile milestone on the way to @britishminiclub (https://instagram.com/britishminiclub) mini day at Himley Hall was such a privilege to see!

These ERA turbos were a super limited number car with only 436 models produced! And only around 80 to 90 of those cars were kept in the uk! The rest pretty much all went to japan! Brads car is so special! He won it through @ukminis (https://instagram.com/ukminis) when it was on just 480 miles from new, it’s essentially a museum piece!

However Brad has a different view to a lot of other enthusiasts who would usually lock this car away and trailer it to shows… Bradley wants to drive this car and take it through all of it’s milestones as he believes there’s no point in having something if you’re not going to use it.

Yes… it’s a very special mini, yes they’re incredibly rare, and yes this one was probably one of the top 5 lowest milage ERA turbos on the road (the lowest still being on 0 miles) but Brad wants to enjoy it how it was intended! What’s your view on this?

Went for an early morning drive to take my parents in the #MiniCooper to Kula Nursery in Petaluma, CA. The owner has a one day only plant sale this year. Early Mom’s Day, she kinda wanted to stay there and now has amazing plants from back home for our veggie garden. Plants are her babies now.

All of our seeds are open-pollinated, mostly heirloom, and grown just 200 feet away from where we sell our plants. Creating this closed loop model ensures the continuation of these heritage crops and further builds resiliency in these seeds and plants. While this model is not the most profitable 😅 it is the right and just way to honor the legacy of these heritage foods. We’re still trying to figure out how to fit this type of nursery model into the fast-paced culture we live in, but every year we inch a little bit closer to making it work.
