@psychictides in this case this is correct but its real dangerous to conflate biological and societal mental processes. The well-meaning people that gave the gas boats to the villagers also made this category error by thinking faster is better for catching fish (with something like the metaphor of a cheetah vs a gazelle)

I did it!! I finished With A Daughters Eye and learned the secret I had been wondering - that in fact Cathy Bateson was an uncredited full author of Mind and Nature as she was the one typing up and editing the secrets of the universe that Gregory was rambling away at her while his cancer was briefly in remission.
