Continued to improve and expand on the tree cover in #MicroState and I think it makes a huge difference, especially in residential areas, which now have much better defined gardens that are attached to houses and are lined with hedges.
Industrial areas too now have mesh fences around them, that are semi-transparent and, like hedges, deform to fit the terrain on hills.
Recent updates to #MicroState include updates to the wireframe mode, improved residential buildings, and special FX and improved City Generation.

I will be away on a work related trip for a couple of weeks, but thought I would post some progress this weekend.
Commercial zones now (finally!) have a chance to develop as retail and service business (e.g. restaurants) and the city parks are a lot more built out; office buildings have been improved and expanded on too.
The logic for how buildings develop - and how abandoned zones work - is also better.

What's new?
* Improved variety of buildings with new industrial and commercial buildings (gas tanks, offices), chance of HVAC units on flat rooves, hip roofs on homes and industrial buildings and indicators for a path connecting houses to pavements.
* New logic for joining zoned tiles with pavements when there are adjoining roads, much more sophisticated than before, will iterate on further.

We've mostly been focused on moving house this week, after being derailed a bit by getting norvovirus and being out of action for a few days.
I did manage to spend some time fixing up touch device support (gestures for pinching and zooming, panning, dragging, etc) on https://microstate.neocities.org though.
It's much easier to test and play with on a phone or tablet now - though I have only tested it on Windows, Mac, Android with Firefox, Chrome, Safari - not tried it on iOS yet.
