I'm back from my American Southwest adventure for the year, travel kit is Gx85, Oly 75-300II, Pany 14/GCW1. This is my 9th year using this kit in the SW. Like most folks here I've got an A team: G9II/Gh6 and the PL 8-18, 12-60,100-400 lenses, however I will be picking up a second Gx85 as I value...

Blatant promo video Emilys take on it. My take on it, not for me. To costly (locally $4200) and way too big. I am however somewhat intrigued by the equally rumoured f:4 50-250, if they manage to keep size and price reasonable controlled. IOW no more than 500(ish) grams and half the price...

Yard #cat (semi #feral ) photographed a couple of days ago (I got a longer zoom lens, and even then I only got *one* good shot out of 96 in motor drive (burst) mode)

You can't even bribe these rural #cats with treats, they run away from them and are camera shy (although a lady in the building next door feeds them)
