We already know, don't we, that lonely, misogynistic fappers like him don't think women are equal to men? They tend to believe women are born weaker, softer, lesser; that men are naturally superior to women.
So when Thick McFuckWit declares Michelle Obama "a man," he's saying he can't stand the idea that she, a "mere" woman, has proven to be equal to or better than him in just about every measurable way. He HAS to call her a man, not because it demeans her, but because it shores up his own fragile feelings about male superiority.
