Prima l’emergenza pista allagata a pochi giorni dal via, poi il clamoroso cratere in pista prima della sprint, adesso anche i lividi e le ferite dei piloti a causa dell’asfalto che si è staccato dalla pista. Il ritorno in Brasile a distanza di 20 anni (e a Goiania a distanza di 40 anni) non è stato un successo. E infatti più che della vittoria di Marco Bezzecchi, si parla della questione sicurezza. A fine gara infatti i piloti hanno mostrato i segni delle ferite e i lividi sul corpo.
Il motivo è l’asfalto, che ha iniziato a sgretolarsi in alcuni punti chiave del circuito e i piloti si sono ritrovati addosso pezzi di pietre “sparati” dalle moto davanti, in una situazione più che al limite per i piloti della top class. Alex Rins si è presentato in TV con il dito ferito dopo essere stato colpito da una pietra già al primo giro. Poi a spiegare bene tutto è stato Alex Marquez, che ha mostrato lividi e ferite sul braccio, spiegando chiaramente i motivi: “Tra le curve 10 e 11, tutto l’asfalto si stava staccando, con tutte le pietre, tutto questo”. E tra i colpiti c’era anche Enea Bastianini, anche lui vittima dell’asfalto che continuava a rompersi giro dopo giro.
Ma non è stata solo sfortuna o comunque un episodio isolato, perché i primi problemi erano già emersi dopo le gare delle classi minori, al punto che la Direzione Gara ha deciso di ridurre la corsa della MotoGp da 31 a 23 giri pochi minuti prima del via. Anche Michelin, infatti, negli attimi immediatamente successivi alla gara, ha chiarito che il problema era il degrado della pista, non le gomme come inizialmente si era ipotizzato.
