Good morning Melbourne!
All lines are running well at present with no delays, cancellations or incidents.
We haven’t checked to see if this is actually the case but let’s run with it anyway.

Throwback Thursday!
This June 1981 Weston Langford pic shows the yard at Fitzroy.
This picture was taken before the Inner Circle line was closed and dismantled because planning for the future needs of Melbourne obviously wasn't a thing.
For reference, the station on the Red Line in Boston I grew up near (and used every day to go 1 stop to my undergrad school) was (drum roll) Charles St. Station.
As of 2019, it had 10,515 weekday average boardings, meaning that should the Takanawa Gateway Station area take off at even a mere fraction of expectations, it'll be less used than the least used Yamanote Line station.
Sigh.
Good morning Melbourne!
The Vic Govt will today announce free public transport will run until the end of May with half price fares from June 1st until the end of the year.
We're announcing we're reducing all timetabled services by half from June 1st. It's only fair.
This gives us a great idea...
Throwback Thursday!
This Nov 1983 pic shows the Box Hill reconstruction, in which the station was reconfigured and moved underground.
Over 40 years have passed, so it's likely some of the people shown are now dead and are now also underground.
Good morning Melbourne!
Geelong Vline services will not stop at Corio today due to a FRV request.
Our services will also not stop at Corio today. Or any day for that matter.
Good morning Melbourne!
Due to ongoing delays with the delivery of our new Xtrapolis 2.0 trains, we've implemented some temporary measures to keep our network running.
Metro 5.15pm Update:
Delays on the Alamein, Belgrave, Glen Waverley and Lilydale lines due to an equipment fault near Melbourne Central.
Nothing's actually broken, we just like trotting out the generic "equipment fault" excuse whenever possible.
