Me (Advising Someone Else on Using #Metallics in #CrossStitch ): Use shorter lengths. #Stitch *slowly* and use #ThreadConditioner. If your end begins to fray or the #Thread begins to separate, trim the end closest to your needle, re-thread, and begin #Stitching again.

🇵🇱 [PL] Zazwyczaj farby kupowałem pojedynczo, wybierając tylko te, które akurat były mi potrzebne. Tym razem postawiłem na zmianę: przyszłościowy prezent dla siebie i solidne zabezpieczenie warsztatu.

Do tej pory miałem może dwie-trzy metaliczne farby i zaczęło mi to ostatnio przeszkadzać – czasem naprawdę brakowało odpowiedniego odcienia. Myślałem o zestawie Army Painter, ale znajomy przekonał mnie, by zaufać Vallejo. Do tej pory żaden ich produkt mnie nie zawiódł, więc postanowiłem pójść za radą.

Już nie mogę się doczekać, aż sprawdzę, jak ten zestaw sprawuje się w praktyce. Macie jakieś doświadczenia z metalikami od Vallejo? 🎨🤘

🇺🇸 [ENG] Until now, I always bought paints individually, picking only the ones I needed at that moment. This time, I decided to do things differently: prepare for the future and treat myself to a practical gift.

I only had two or maybe three metallic paints, and recently I started to feel really limited by that – sometimes, the right shade was simply missing. I considered an Army Painter set, but a friend convinced me to trust Vallejo instead. Since none of their paints have ever let me down, I decided to go with their recommendation.

I can’t wait to see how this set performs in practice. Do you have any experience with Vallejo metallics? 🎨🤘
