Back home from #BettyHamburg and #Earthside:

#Penetractor from #Bremen were opening the evening. They're describing their music as #ProgMetalCore. Not my cup of tea.

Supporting, and playing second, was #RaphaelWeinrothBrowne. One guy and his cello, using (I'm assuming) a loop station plus potentially some extra electronics. Damn he's good. I bought his most recent album afterwards, I was so impressed.

Gestern Abend im #Colos_Saal in #Aschaffenburg gewesen. Mostly Autumn waren richtig nice und haben schön lange gespielt. Diese Energie ist einfach großartig. Dicke Empfehlung.

Vreid: Sehr geil, für den nächsten Bandcamp Friday gemerkt, denn sie hatten gerade mal 30 Minuten - viel zu wenig
Abbath: 🤘 aber kein Wort seiner Ansagen verstanden
Hypocrisy: 🤘🤘🤘 Absolut genial.

Auftritte gestern: #Nephylim - nicht so meins. Ich mag die Art des Gesangs nicht, die der Sänger hauptsächlich benutzt. Wenn ich das höre denke ich immer, das sollen Growls sein, die er einfach nicht kann (danke an #WithinTemptation damals für diese Assoziation).
#InVain haben mir gefallen. Der Sänger kommt so richtig tief und trotzdem kraftvoll mit seiner Stimme, so soll das. Überhaupt empfand ich das als beeindruckenden Range, den er hatte. Und dass hin und wieder Gitarristen und Bassist mit einsteigen, resultierte in schönen Harmonien.

Some impressions from last night.

When #Vreid opened the room was still pretty empty. They did well and would have deserved more of a crowd.

Second was #Vomitory. I really like their music, but sound could have been better. Room still almost half empty.

Suddenly the room was extremely full. Where did all these people come from? Well deserved, #Abbath. Super show.

#Hypocrisy were the headliner rightly. They played songs from the full band history, a heavy ride through the decades. Excellent.
