Merritt ER closed overnight due to staff shortage
Interior Health said the ER at the Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt would be closed overnight from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Tuesday "due to limited staffing availability."
Merritt, B.C. continues to search for hospital closure solutions
An option to alleviate the staffing shortage has been put forward, but it's one Interior Health may not approve and that has residents extremely worried.
Doctor denied position at Merritt, B.C. emergency room
Merritt residents say this has become an uphill battle with Interior Health and if a solution is presented, they would at least like it considered.
Another ER closure at Nicola Valley Hospital
Merritt and area residents are being warned that the Nicola Valley Hospital will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday, March 10 to 8 a.m. on Saturday.
