Look, I’m all in on the recent rule changes in #MLB but what they missed was a mercy rule.
Games like this are rare, but when they do happen, it’s pretty brutal. There’s at least a few double-digit blowouts every season.
My recent trip to #Fenway saw a 15-5 W over #NYY (which was 🔥).
Propose: any double digit inning before the 7th ends the game by the end of the 7th. Double digit innings AFTER the 7th automatically end the game on the final out.
