Final bill is just over $500 at today’s pricing. #MercuryOne #3DPrinting
I bought the Ender 5 Pro as an open-box unit and I guess the previous owner put it together with an impact driver because many things are stripped or generally fucked up, including the stock bed mount. I don't really have a choice but to also do the Hydra upgrade. #MercuryOne #3DPrinting

Looking at getting parts for the #MercuryOne Hydra and #Ender3NG.

Apparently the metal bed carriage on the Ender 3 NG requires different bearings. $28/ea from Misumi. No thanks. I'd rather not order from AliExpress but it doesn't look like any of my typical #3DPrinting stores carry it.

I really don’t remember the #MercuryOne idlers, etc. being this fiddly. Not that bad, but it’s fiddly. #Voron #3DPrinting

Progress on the #mercuryone has been halted for a bit as I've had no ends of trouble getting the right lead screw nut for the lead screws that I bought from Fabreeko.

Drove an hour to try and get the right nut, but forgot the lead screw at home. Ended up buying the wrong one again. 🤬 (Turns out the lead screws I have are 2-start, not 4-start.) Ended up ordering a 2mm and 4mm threaded nut to cover both cases, but I'll have to wait for shipping.

Starting my #ender5plus to #mercuryone #hydra conversion today. First step is the Hydra bed leveling system. All z motors are mounted, now need to square up the frame.
