Just finished a rather crazy read called Dopefoot! Bigfoot, cannabis farms, all kinds of lore woven together. If you like the 2 star film “Welcome to Willits” this is just as fucked up, and a lot better. I would give it more than two stars, but I think most people can’t inhabit that kind of crazy very well. Anyway… this was a lot of fun to read, both hilarious and horrifying.
If you are in the north Bay Area of California the author, Joshua Mellican, and the Bitter Kerala will be at The Worde Horde Emporium this Friday, June 26, 6pm, Petaluma, CA. It’s an excellent small book store known for its horror, fantasy, weird indie books.

I loved being here again, it's gorgeous and completely improbable that the town even still exists, especially since logging and related industry took a dive and drinking water is in limited supply. This was the first time I got the impression that some locals are sick and tired of people visiting their town and wish they would stay away. #California #CaliforniaCoast #travel
