I mostly forgot to document anything for #MeMadeMay even though I now have outfits that I've made! Here's the one example I have - Ann Tilley's Magic Pants, Helens Closet's Jackson Tee and the Hitofude cardigan I knit.

I love the pants! They're a red/blue denim that looks fabulous in the sun, and have no buttons or zippers, just a hidden stretchy panel across the stomach. Both comfortable and fancy looking.

Squeaking in a post of the sweater I finished 2 days ago for #MeMadeMay. Wore it out for dinner because it’s always cool enough on the water in Seattle for a sweater. This was the yarn I bought at the April volleyball tournament. Might be the fastest I’ve gone from yarn purchased to finished sweater for me.

We won’t talk about some of the work sweaters I cranked out on a deadline. 😆

Last day of me made May! I kind of wanted to go out with a bang, but I also wanted to go hiking, and I'm not going to do that in fancy clean clothes (not in the muggy weather we're having), so here I am, looking sweaty in clothes I already wore this month. Trousers from Big Clothes, Small Clothes and the button front shirt from The Fabric Store.

#memademay started on Instagram and sewing blogs. Since IG became so cluttered & unusable, I am happy it is here on Bluesky. Wear your me-made creations proudly, and ignore the imperfections. (No one can tell most imperfections but you.)

Last day of #MeMadeMay - realised I had enough fabric left to make another Sew Over It Libby shirt
Oh, right, still me made May. Yesterday was a skirt made from a too big dress i found at the thrift store, and a shirt I made from staking basically two rectangle together. That was one of my very first sewing projects. The fit isn't great, but I really love the deer fabric, so it gets to stay anyway.
Today another early shirt attempt, from an old duvet cover. With darts, so slightly better fit. Also not the best shirt ever, but I like the stripes. The shorts are the Frollein Kluntje from Rabaukowitsch again.

#MeMadeMay day 30 - too hot! Japanese T-shirt + Sew Over It Ava skirt again #sewing
Oops, didn’t post a #MeMadeMay day 29 post yesterday but I was wafting around in this Sew Over It Sylvia top (photo is from a few years ago, no idea where the belt has gone!) #sewing

I started this cardigan, Seven Tees by Katrin Schneider, in 2022. It's been with me through 3 homes and is finally blocking.

I had to upsize the arms, because the original pattern was way too small. The yarn is a local rambouillet from Mesta Meadows.

Used an 8 year old video for the underarm stitch pick-up that worked well.

A double offering for #MeMadeMay - two makes from the past year! The Moss Jacket is made with Ikea fabric. It was the first time making this pattern, it's okay, but I need to adjust the shoulders and arms if I make it again. I am not in love with the bell sleeves but I really like the collar. The second jacket is made with #SecondHand denim and bias binding I made myself. It's from a discontinued pattern from Helen's Closet that I have modified with shortened sleeves. I have made a calf-length version of this pattern in teal corduroy (which I love!). On this one, I did enclosed seams on the yoke! They look so clean! Bias binding along the cuffs/bottom. I really like this! I have another jacket project in the pipeline but I would make this again in a lighter fabric as an alternative to a cardigan. I like a lot of space around my shoulders and this makes me happy. I also like shorter (bracelet) sleeves. I also love the collar although it was difficult to get right.
