The party was with themed because according to folklore witches flew on their brooms to a place called "Blåkulla" to party with the Devil either on Maundy Thursday or Easter Eve.

I must not look at any more fabric!
I use Trello to digitally store my patterns and fabric.
The fabric is listed as to whether it's stretch or woven. It's almost like visiting an online shop. Often I think oh I didn't know I had that. Sometimes I make notes on what I'm going to do with it.
Awkward bathroom selfie but I'm feeling very Christmasy today!
This is a dress I made last year for Christmas and it's so comfy! It's still on my list to make in a black and white gingham so I have a more timeless version but I love getting to wear this each year.
Today I will learn how to sew/install zippers and buttonholes properly. The 3-hour workshop is at the [Gaye Abandon] School of Sewing and Upcycling in Footscray. https://schoolofsewingandupcycling.com.au/product/zippers-and-buttonholes-sewing-workshop/
I’ve made a pair of zip fly pants before (see photo) but not without struggle and a round of unpicking stitches. And I’ve always messed up invisible zips. Hoping to pick up a few techniques today and stop running away from patterns that require invisible and lapped zips. Huzzah!
@sonyaknits Hi! I'm really glad to meet people with a similar background to me over here. I'm an avid sewist and student of info & library mgt :) I'm quite new to Mastodon, so please bear with me. I'm currently in the middle of a metadata subject and just about to embark on a sewing project that involves some hacking (i.e., making a wrap dress out of the peppermint wrap top & peppermint wrap skirt). Should be fun!
