@epilys Happy Birthday #Meli! You're a little rough around the edges but still my favorite #email client.

The #meli e-mail client began as a C ncurses project back in 2017, quickly switching to Rust. Its name was "nutt" as in "new mutt" but that was just an ugly placeholder. It only supported maildir.

Since then, it has gained support for so many protocols: IMAP, NNTP, JMAP, and more. It is packaged in many distros.

Yesterday marked 7 years since its first public commit. Happy birthday!

Some terminals have support for special escape codes to annotate areas as text, (OSC-8 escape sequences). I just added support for it in meli, my terminal e-mail client.

I bought more $SE today ($77.05, low of the day, by chance not skill) after it cratered on very good (in my opinion) quarterly report. Missing the quarter earnings estimate by a tiny amount is not a big deal to me.

I guess the "issue" was lower growth projected for 2026 that people hoped for. I don't put much weight in estimates for SE (or most companies).

I also bought some more $MELI today ($1680s). Also donated a bit more $AAPL today.
