There's a 3rd network you didn't consider for Colbert: Fox.

Why would Fox snap up Colbert? Same reason defense contractors run ads on #MeetThePress. To stifle criticism. Fox Primetime is also notoriously Left (and lack a late night show.)

But personally, I don't think Colbert wants a new show. I think he's looking forward to retirement.

NBC's #MeetThePress and ABC's #ThisWeek directly compete with each other. Recently I noticed that #ThisWeek is so very much better, so very much more credible than #MeetThePress that I plan to stop watching #MeetThePress. What about CBS, the network where right wing owners canceled Stephen Colbert's television show and whose nightly news show has no credibility? Their news division under Bari Weiss does not provide credible content, in my opinion.
