I’m quite busy with work atm but from mid-April I’ll be looking again in journalism, media, PR if anything comes up. Please let me know if you see anything or are needing help with anything. I’ve reported and worked from five continents and have an extensive portfolio of bylines and contacts from all around the world and have placed top tier coverage for a number of orgs. Recent and current clients include:
a new philanthropy think tank in Canada that has a publishing arm (book PR)
a charity based in North Carolina and working in a slum in Kenya
a small nature nonprofit in Australia (book PR)
an Ireland-based pensions specialist
a Paris-based award-winning author who released her memoir
A UK and US-based publishing company who had just launched a newsletter
Thanks in advance for any shares.

[Live Interpretation: English; French; Spanish; Russian] From Iran to Italy, people have taken to the streets in protest. A new global data report by the CIVICUS Monitor looks at a range of this year’s prominent protest movements and documents the most prevalent restrictions to freedom of peaceful assembly. Over the past 12 months, the CIVICUS Monitor has tracked protests in over 130 countries. Some of the most common restrictions include the detention of protesters, the use of excessive force and extrajudicial killings. The purpose of this event is to unpack the report’s global findings, while also taking a closer look at specific regions and countries that have seen the most repressive responses to protests. Panelists include: • Lysa John, Secretary-General, CIVICUS • Julieta Zurbrigg, Civic Space Researcher, CIVICUS Monitor • Ruki Fernando, Activist, Centre for Society and Religion (CSR), Sri Lanka • Denis Shedov, Lawyer & analyst at OVD-Info, Russia • Aida Saadat, Program Manager, FEMENA Iran
