Means of Production Xmas 2025 rave tape. Dark electronica with disconcerting lyrics and live videos in performance. Available as a cassette for playing in your car stereo as you whizz round the M25 looking for an address off a dodgy flier.

For anyone interested - or who can help talk about #librarysocialism - I’ve been asked to do a repeat presentation of this project to the #CryptoLeftist community. All are welcome!
https://discord.gg/v9q2pvTA?event=1408121374836523109
We did this presentation before, but the recording was lost, and we had some requests for it. The majority of it is about LibrarySocialism and the software platform of #meansofproduction, with some touching on uses of #blockchain technology and how it can apply here.
Some news on the #meansofproduction and #librarysocialism fronts . . . .
Major refactor of the domain for MoP has been completed. Working on the server API now, and then the client should be out before too long.
Also, we're moving our governing DAO to #gnosis shortly.
Annnnnnnnd along with it - related to this project, I'm planning to release a v0.1 of a #labortoken this month on Citizen Wallet.
This will be available for anyone that wants to setup a timebank with interchangeable credits.

If you poke your head in my office you’re going to get an indefinite lecture about the following…
- FOSS
- Linux
- Fediverse
- HR-friendly hints at the inevitable dystopian end state of capitalism
… until either I convert you or you stop poking your head into my office.
It is fucking disgusting to see so many marginalised people beg for money to survive and barely get by (if at all) while knowing that most of y'all are affluent white middle class people. This place stinks with middle-classness.
And... Maybe some people get enough donations to survive, to barely scrape by, to not-quite-die — but they are being kept down in that state of continually having to scramble to survive. Never recover, never getting enough to be stable, to get on their feet, to be in a place where they could earn their own money (if that is feasable or a goal), never getting the means of production (a proper laptop and maybe mic/camera setup would make a world of difference to many ppl, including me).
Never to thrive.
You are handing out crumbs because you don't want to see people literally die on your doorsteps, but you DO keep them in poverty, despair and dependant on more charity.
You deny marginalised people the means of production.
You enforce classism.
When we all know that collectively, "we" could easily pay off each other's mutual aid requests and give more, because everyone always asks for too little because it is difficult and draining to have to ask at all.
Why are you perpetuating *artificial scarcity*? It is not necessary. It is a culmination of a thousand little choices, each one rooted in complacency, selfishness, classism, capitalism, ableism, racism, queer-hate and willful ignorance.
If you know where the money for next months rent, bills and food will come from, you are privileged. Many never have that safety and stability. But don't feel bad. It is GOOD that many others do have safety. But if you have more, then just fucking share, you selfish fucks.

Social class is a function of one's relation to the #MeansOfProduction. If you work for a wage, it doesn't matter if you're a ditch-digger or a college professor, you are #WorkingClass.
