This new #RytBank - I'm thrown off by their #AI shtick, but this news certainly does enough for me to even be somewhat interested into looking them up. Anyway, the 'point of entry' (i.e. to get set up with a savings account) seems super simple, but until they support #ApplePay, they're not as enticing as they could be. That being said, even major players like #CIMB still don't support #Apple Pay in Malaysia - it's not the worst thing in the world since you could just have a secondary card that is avai on Apple Pay e.g. #Maybank or even digital 'banking' like #Wise, but def not an option as a 'sole' bank for me.

So #Maybank does not only not display the actual amount received in a foreign currency - only showing the post-conversion MYR amount (with no exchange rate info whatsoever) in their web UI or mobile app, they also do not disclose those information in the monthly account statement - despite initially telling me that these could be found there. What a dogshit bank.
