My #MAudio Keystation Mini 32 broke because the USB port was surface mounted and stripped right off the circuit board (with traces!).

My #Arturia Keystep 37 just now broke, because while not surface mounted, the cheap USB B port's backshield popped off and ripped off two SMDs in the process.

Like I'm kinda stunned. Almost makes me think keyboard producers does this on purpose…

In both cases I neither of them received any abuse or excessive force. And after my M-Audio died I've been trying to be very careful about the cable insertion  

And in both cases, this could have been solved with not soldering the USB ports directly to the PCB

Aaand I did it again: another #Live played track in #Bitwig with my #MAudio MIDI controller and the #Novation #Launchpad .

A bit more experimental this time but still with two #Roland #303 emulations. I love the Silverboxes!

Don't ask me why this works. But if you have an #MAudio #Air192 audio interface on Windows, youve no doubt had the thing just drop out on you or gotten tons of static on your inputs.

Set the format on your inputs and outputs to 176.4Khz at any bit depth, and you won't have those problems any more.

Ich möchte mein neues Notebook an die Wand schmeißen.

Bei meinem bisherigen Windows10-Rechner konnte ich die #Icybox-Dockingstation und meine #MAudio 8 als Aufnahme/Wiedergabegerät anschließen und dann mit #Cubase aufnehmen. Bei meinem neuen #Windows11 Notebook funktioniert's einfach nicht. Wenn ich die Dockingstation anschließe, erkennt er keine Audiotreiber mehr. Cubase erkennt das M-Audio auch nicht mehr. Alles rotz. 🤬
