I wondered where in the world that accent came from.

It turns out that they both grew up in #Ontario. Is this a widespread Ontario accent?

If this didn't have you at "satanic yuppie cannibal cult", I'm not sure I can help you. Incredibly funny Canadian movie with Taryn Manning and the incomparable Matt Frewer in a supporting role. It's excellent; see it.

I mentioned this movie once before, long ago, but didn't give it the review treatment. It's part mystery, part stoner comedy with a fantastic cast.

Post-apocalyptic #cyberpunk set in the world of deadly #TVratings. Love it. #MattFrewer went on to reprise the role of #MaxHeadroom in the #TVseries "The Max Headroom Show" (1985-7). Memories...

Max was advertised as computer-generated, & some believed it, but he was actually Matt Frewer wearing prosthetic makeup, contact lenses, & a plastic molded suit in front of a blue screen. Graphics were created by a top-of-the-line 1987 computer, a Commodore Amiga. Last appearance was in Pixels 2015.
