The requirements to pre-compile some parts of the latest #MastodonUpdate needed more memory so I had to shutdown the services just for a few minutes so I could finish the upgrade.
We are now running the latest 4.4.3 version of #Mastodon which came out 31 minutes ago.
settimaUnder [your instance]/settings/privacy there's an option to disable (it's enabled by defaultβ¦) the follows and followers.
I *assume* here's where you can make your presence here a bit more private.
Ugh, and now I spot the "also followed by [user]" thing on profile pages.
I used to be on Twitter and absolutely loathed when that became a thing. It's such an invasion of privacy.
WHy? WHY?
Is it just my paranoid browser settings or is the #AltText no longer showing up when hovering over an image?
Edit: ah, search is also kaputt. Wunderbar.
Edit edit: search was a temporary snafu, the missing alt-on-hover is a feature not a bug.
