So I spent a lot of time writing a post...which I think was kinda irrelevant but I wrote it due to me being excited with a Mastodon feature.

Not a complaint comment: It would make more sense to me if the Fedi users showing up were mutual follows...just saying! No judgement!

A feature missing in Mastodon is the ability to save drafts… is there a method for emulating them?

One Mastodon feature I’d like to see is a notification for when someone accepts your follow request.

I add people to lists right when I follow them. But if I request and they accept later, I’m not capable of remembering to go back add add them to lists. My ADHD brain fails me there.

Probably only an issue if you follow a million people. Still. I’d like to see that.

Anyone have a good workaround for this?

Group Pages are a Mastodon must have feature in order to encourage more Facebook users to move to Mastodon. The ability to form a private group for a club, some topic, or organization is valuable and essential.

It could be a minimal feature initially:
- Group Page Creation and Group Owner
- Group Page Private (initially)
- Member Invitation
- Member Posting
- Member Comment and Like of Another Member’s Post
- Post Editing

I recently deleted my Facebook (FB) account due to FB policy changes, it’s clear allegiance to Trump and Musk, and to its AI insertions. FB privacy has always been a concern. I never liked FB but used it in one narrow case for a group access to a private Triathlon club page. I’ll miss that.

I would love to be able to encourage that group to move to Mastodon. But the Group feature needs to be added to do that.

Mastodon feature request: I would like to be able to have separate follow lists. Currently, I have my general follows in my "Home" list and my super follows in my "Notifications" list. I would like to add a number of other custom lists.
